All the children look forward to music time. Miss Rowena comes 3 times a week and brings her guitar as well as lots of props and fun songs!
Training at Blossom
We only hire the best and then we ensure they remain the best by making sure that every member of staff completes at least 40 hours of training each year.
This area is shared between 4 classrooms and is used for music, reading and role play. We also have an new I-Pad station so children can familiarise themselves with the technology which will be so important for their futures!
We believe that children should learn to recycle from a young age so that it will come naturally to them as adults as an important part of the modern World!
Every year we have Arabic week. A whole week dedicated to all things Arabic; the language, culture and of course food. The children take part in many activities throughout the week and it is so much fun!
Making Cowgirl hats
At Blossom we encourage the children to recycle from a young age. We even use recycling in most of our arts and crafts, like these recycled Cowboy hats.
We make sure all our classrooms read at least 5 books every day so that children learn to love books in all forms.
Fruit and vegetable Week
One week a year we have fruit an vegetable week. This is a great opportunity fr children to experiment with different types of fruits and vegetables by touch, taste and even creating art!

We had a fantastic Teddy bears picnic to celebrate Blossom's 5th Birthday and everyone got involved!
Linking letters with phonics

Childrens storage area
Every child has their own bucket with their name on. this encourages them to recognise their name and gives them ownership over the Nursery.
Water play is lots of fun!
Even the babies get to have water fun without being overwhelmed in the BIG water play area. The have their own area with lots of buckets and fun!
Every classroom is different and we make sure to display children;s work so they learn to love their space and are comfortable to learn and play there.
This is a great activity to enhance letter or name recognition. Try it at home with your child and they will not only have lots of fun but also learn and have a beautiful craft to display!
We have French and Arabic twice a week at Blossom and our language teachers make sure the classes are lots of fun and interactive!
The upstairs classroom are for the Preschool and older Toddlers and the children are taught to walk on the safe side and hold the banister. Where so many people live in apartments this is a great opportunity for children to gain confidence using stairs.
Every classroom has an area for children to sit for Circle time as a class. This is a great opportunity for children to learn to listen and speak in a groups. They gain confidence in themselves and know that their input and ideas are important.
Multi skill pumpkin
This is a great activity for around Halloween where children can enhance their fine motor skills with threading and name recognition too. All packaged up in a fun craft!
We are so lucky to have our very own gardening patch. The children can help plant which is a fantastic way to explain the needs of plants and encourage gentle hands.
Our Outdoor space is great to be used all year round as it is well shaded. Children have access to different equipment to enhance their gross and fine motor skills whilst having lots of fun!
Messy play is a great way for children to experiment using all their senses. It gives an opportunity for new vocabulary and to work together in this case to make fresh pasta!
We ensure our spaces are curated beautifully so that the children always have lots of things to look and ask questions about.
Drumming and dancing
The older children get to walk and run to the beat of the drum, getting faster and faster, which they love!
Our Reception is a child friendly area if you bring your child along for a tour they can play whilst we talk. It is also a fun place to play on the way out at the end of the day.
At Blossom we ensure that our staff and children know exactly what to do in an emergency by practicing regularly.
We have monthly Fire drills to instill the importance of a swift but safe evacuation.
First Aid Training
We ensure that all our staff are Paediatric First Aid Trained and renew their training regularly.
Our First Aid training covers everything from minor bumps and grazes to CPR and the use of Defibrillators.
This video will show you all the fun the children can get up to in our gym! This is not only enjoyable but also a great learning experience to improve physical development. It can also incorporate other types of learning at the same time such as colours and numbers, matching.
Dubai Drums is a great way for children to learn about rhythm and increases their vocabulary as they talk about the experience. It also enhances gross motor skills ans they join in with their friends.
All the children love our water play area. It is a great way to get some outside time in the summer without over heating!
Little Explorers Field trip
Every year our Upper Preschoolers have a field trip. Last year we went to Little Explorers and the children had a blast, exploring all the different areas.
Look at our children experimenting with volume and measuring without even realising it!

International Coffee Day
We try to involve our parents as much as possible to build a community through the Nursery. We also make links to local businesses who share our beliefs such as Coffee Planet who provide organic coffee.
Music and laughter
The children love their music classes and get really involved, as you can see. It is a great opportunity to bring in new learning goals in a fun interactive way!
How to make plastic bottle shakers
This is an eco-friendly craft. You can recycle your used plastic bottles into fun and colourful shakers your children will love!
Role play is an important part of learning, as children get to use their imaginations and learn more about working together towards a common goal!
This children love to cook and enjoy making the cakes almost as much as eating them. Mini chef is a great opportunity to talk about measuring, mixing and creating a new product!
Golden Rules are the way we try to reinforce positive behaviour in the classroom. This activity could also be used at home to reinforce tidying up after oneself.
At Blossom we have a fantastic Water play area with fountains, a palm tree which rains and tipping buckets. This video shows our children enjoying the facilities.
